Shine like a star among unbelievers

“…so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky,” Philippians 2:15 (NIV).

Prayers: May the Holy Spirit empower us to shine like a star in this dark world.

Be honest and truthful

“Instead, let your message be ‘Yes’ for ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ for ‘No.’ Anything more than that comes from the evil one,” Matthew 5:37 (ISV)

Prayers: Consecrate our tongues, O Lord, so that we would only say Your truths.

Every perfect gift comes from God

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17 (NIV)

Prayers: Give us, O Lord, wonderful gifts that would transform our lives.

The Lord is our shepherd

”The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness, for His name’s sake,” Psalm 23:1-3 (NKJV)

Prayers: Guide me, O Lord, in everything I do in this life.

Your faith in God can move mountains

“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you,” Matthew 17:20 (NIV)

Prayers: Give us, O Lord, a mountain-moving faith!

The word of God is powerful

”For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart,” Hebrews 4:12 (NIV)

Prayers: May Your word enrich us and transform our lives in a powerful way.

We triumph in Jesus Christ’s peace

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV)

Prayers: May we continually abide in Your peace, oh Lord.
