““’If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23 (NIV)

Commentary: One interesting statement Jesus Christ made about having unwavering faith in him and God is recorded in Matthew 17:20: ” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you,” (NIV).

It is fact that many of us never bother to ask, “How really small is a mustard seed?” The answer is not far-fetched: A mustard seed is typically about 1 to 2 millimeters (0.04 to 0.08 inches) in diameter. For a better visualization, it is about the “size of a pinhead” or “smaller than a grain of rice!”

Literally, Jesus Christ was saying that if your faith is even smaller than one grain of rice, you can move mountains! Isn’t that amazing!

Prayers: Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief!
