We have forgiveness of sins through God’s grace

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace,” Ephesians 1:7 (NLT).

Commentary: The hymn “Nothing but the blood of Jesus” constantly reminds us that all our sins have been washed away by the blood of Jesus. This eternal redemption comes into fulfilment through the grace of God bestowed on us by virtue of Christ’s great sacrifice on the cross of calvary.

As Jesus Christ used to tell people: “Go and sin no more!“. This is eternally applicable to us as well. Therefore, let’s rejoice in God’s unmerited favor displayed towards us.

Prayers: May the blood of Jesus Christ shed for our redemption remain ever powerful in our lives.

God does not show favoritism

“Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism,” Acts 10:34 (NIV)

Prayers: Thank you, Lord, for accepting us the way we are, because You are not a partial God.
