Be like Jesus Christ- do good to others

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him,” Acts 10:38 (NIV)

Commentary: How then can I be anointed with the Holy Ghost? You may want to know.

There are 7 special ways believers were anointed with the Holy Spirit in the Scriptures:

1. Through faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:2, Ephesians 1:13-14)
2. Through repentance and baptism (Galatians 3:2, Ephesians 1:13-14)
3. Through the laying on of hands (Acts 8:17; Acts 19:6)
4. While hearing and believing the gospel (Acts 10:44-47)
5. Through prayer and asking God (Luke 11:13)
6. Through God’s direct sovereign action (Acts 2:1-4)
7. Through obedience to God (Acts 5:32)

So, when you have received the Holy Ghost and its accompanying “power“, use it to do good to others as Jesus Christ did!

Prayers: Like Jesus Christ, may we be anointed with the Holy Spirit and power.
